About the scholarship:The Japanese government scholarship(MEXT) is a very prestigious fully funded scholarship awarded to the meritorious student what want to pursue undergraduate, master's or PhD degree at Japanese Universities. The scholarship is awarded by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) and also known as "Monbukagakusho". Students can apply for the scholarship either Japanese Diplomatic Mission in their Country( Embassy Recommendation) or directly to the interested university( University Recommendation). Between these, University Recommendation is tract is comparatively easy and hassle free. You have to find a potential host professor whose research area align your interest and willing to accept you in his lab. He will submit your application to the university office. University will select among the applicant to recommend to the MEXT. Usually, the applicants who are recommended by the university get the scholarship. A number of top ranking universities in Japan, is now accepting application for April 2027.
